As a marketing professional I've worked with for-profit and non-profit organizations in the music industry, pulling from my skills in writing, photography, and video production.

  • The Legally Authorized to Jam campaign provides California music educators and booster materials with advocacy materials to inform local governing boards about getting kids access to music education.  
  • The graphic above and presentation below are part of the campaign I created for CMEA (California Music Educators Association) to help in their ongoing music education advocacy efforts.

Contests

  • Coordinated and created a full contest yearlong contest strategy for SMP Press
    • Encouraged composers to upload products seasonally corresponding to different times of the year.
      • These contests were very successful in producing new products, increasing sales, and generating higher engagement from the SMP Press artist community.

Social media

  • Grew audience to over 3,000 followers organically, with no paid ads
  • Created content calendar, growth strategy, and volunteer media team 
  • Leveraged user-generated content for long-term engagement and growth
  • Community management of audience over 2,500 followers
  • Build content strategy centered around video, using smaller clips to build buzz
  • Instituted paid social ads that increased new sign-ups by 20%
